Once we have received the deeds to your property, we will prepare the draft contract and paperwork relating to the sale. It is important that both buyer and seller are entirely clear about the terms of the sale and what fixtures and fittings are included in the sale price.
We will liaise with your buyers’ solicitors and keep you fully informed at every stage. Contracts can be exchanged once your buyers’ mortgage offer; results of searches and a satisfactory surveyor’s report are all in place. Although it is usual to complete the transaction within four to six weeks of exchange, you are not obliged until exchange of contracts to complete the transaction.
