Buying
Whether you are buying a new home or an investment property, we recognise you have a great deal at stake and will do our utmost to ensure your interests are protected. Each client has different pressures and expectations so we treat every one as an individual.

You can rely on us to conduct all the necessary searches and handle all the legal and technical details in a thorough and professional manner. We will alert you to any matters that we feel require further information or where a specialist report may be prudent.

Of course speed is a priority when handling your transaction, but protecting your interests is our main concern.

We will obtain from the sellers' advisors a draft contract and list of contents, fixtures and fittings for you agree. We can proceed with all necessary searches.

Contracts can be exchanged once your mortgage offer; results of searches and all legal enquiries are complete. Although it is usual to complete the transaction within four to six weeks of exchange, you are not obliged at this stage to proceed, but will be committed to the transaction from exchange of contracts.

As you can see there is a lot of ground to cover between making your offer and packing your china, but our highly skilled advisors and sophisticated systems are here to smooth the way.

First time buyers

Feel free to contact us for an initial chat, even before you've found your new property. One of our Conveyancing specialists will be happy to talk you through the process, so you'll know what to expect once you've decided on a property. Having your solicitor in place will also save time as the vendor or their estate agent will need to have your solicitors' contact details to proceed with the sale.
